Why does this exist?

There were too many "class of 2028" Instagram accounts that seemed to be 1) maintained by non-Stanford students and 2) asking for money to be posted. Instagram also isn't the best platform for connecting with fellow students. This website is easy, free, and only open to actual students!

There were so many accounts that this text box is unnecessarily long...

I think we need more Instagram accounts.

What do you mean "open to actual students?"

Using military-grade technology (Google OAuth), only Stanford students can access this website. Not convinced? Try it out by logging in.

Isn't this just re-inventing Instagram?

Kind of! I prefer to think of it as a simpler version of Instagram: a student directory featuring photos and basic information. Sort of like a yearbook, but online. And free. Call it "TheBook."
